Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Trinity Fellowship Church Sanctuary with Randy Srader, pastor, and Randy Levens officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery by Cox-LaGrone Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive. Mrs. Dobbs was born on Dec. 1, 1975, in Hereford. During her lifetime, she lived in many places including Guymon, Okla., Caddo Mills, San Angelo and finally settling in Amarillo with her husband Mark. She graduated from West Texas A&M University and was a teacher at Olsen Park and Margaret Wills Elementary Schools. Andrea was loved by many, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Survivors include her husband, Mark Dobbs; two children, Kyler and Addison Dobbs; her parents, Glenn and Mozelle Thomas of Amarillo; a brother, David Thomas and wife Merideth of Emory; a sister, Micah Thomas of Amarillo; three nephews, Cole, Max and Sam Thomas; and a niece, Shelby Thomas. The family suggest memorials be to the college fund for Addison and Kyler Dobbs or Pennies From Heaven-Amarillo, in care of Wells Fargo Bank. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Max Wayne Baggerly Max Wayne Baggerly, 79, of Amarillo died Sunday, March 18, 2007. Private family graveside services will be at 1 p.m. today in Pioneer Cemetery in Beaver, Okla. Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in St. Luke's Presbyterian Church in Amarillo. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Spearman. Mr. Baggerly, son of Lou and Lin Baggerly, was born Aug. 13, 1927, in Liberal, Kan. His early years were spent in Booker and Beaver, where he made friendships which lasted a lifetime and graduated from Beaver High School. After service in the U. S. Navy, Max graduated from Oklahoma State University. Max married his childhood sweetheart and the love of his life, Dorothy Beegle, in 1948 in Beaver, where they lived until moving to Spearman in 1955. He owned and operated B & B Sales Co. stores in Spearman, Perryton and Guymon, Okla. Out of dedication to his community and its youth, he also opened Bowl Mor Lanes in Spearman. During his 40 years in Spearman, Max served as president of the Spearman school board and also the Hansford County Hospital District for many years. He and Dorothy were charter members of First Presbyterian Church, where he served faithfully for many years as a deacon and elder. Max was a lifelong supporter of education and established the Max & Dorothy Baggerly Scholarship Fund as well as being named Distinguished Contributors to Oklahoma Panhandle State University. After moving to Amarillo in 1994, Max and Dorothy became dedicated members of St. Luke's Presbyterian Church. At the time of his death, Max was serving as a director of First National Bank of Spearman and Bank of the Panhandle in Guymon. Max loved to travel with his wife and good friends. They enjoyed many places and countries. He was an avid golfer, fisherman and Texas Tech fan. He took much pride in his beloved children, and they, along with his wife of 58 years, will greatly miss him. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; a son, Steve Baggerly and wife Becky of Guymon; two daughters, Karen Baggerly of Lubbock and Camille Williamson and husband Marc of Fredericksburg; four grandchildren, Shana Fields and husband Ronnie of Waco, Stacy Roseberry and husband Jed of Dallas, Matthew Williamson of Lubbock and Kristen Williamson of St. Louis; a great-granddaughter, Haley Roseberry of Dallas; and a brother, Jerry Baggerly of Elmwood, Okla. Moore, 88, of Amarillo, died Saturday, March 17, 2007. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd. with the Rev. Stephen Gaines officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mrs. Moore was born Oct. 1, 1918, to Lee Marion Day and Lillian Blanche Day near Whitesboro. She grew up on farms in North Texas and Oklahoma. She graduated from Port High School in Oklahoma, in 1937. At the urging of her best friend, Jewel wrote the best friend's brother to cheer him up as he served in the Navy during World War II. In her words, she guessed she did a good job as she and Joseph Clinton Moore were married June 11,1945, in Huntington Beach, Calif. While Clint served, Jewel worked for the Navy Department in San Diego. In 1946, prior to their firstborn, they moved to Amarillo to be closer to family. Mrs. Moore was a hard worker, sometimes working two jobs to help provide for the family during tough times. She retired from St. Anthony's Hospital after many years of service. Mrs. Moore was a Christian woman, and a faithful, long- standing member of San Jacinto United Methodist Church, and belonged to the Wesley Comrades Sunday School Class. She served as an officer of various church organizations, was a regular volunteer in the church kitchen and folded weekly church newsletters for many years. Mrs. Moore loved to cook and bake, especially when she could share with others. She passed on her skills, or at least her secrets, to her family. She taught her granddaughters to make delicious chocolate pies. And she taught her grandsons how to make cornbread dressing using Grandmother's secret recipe. Mrs. Moore enjoyed living at the Canyons Retirement Center. She made many friends there. She had fun with her lunch bunch each day. She particularly looked forward to the potluck suppers, and so enjoyed the entertainment provided by the "Half-Price Band." The family would like to thank the staffs of the Canyons, BSA N.M.I. Unit and BSA Hospice for kind and wonderful care. Mrs. Moore was a good neighbor and friend to many. She spent her life taking care of others. to those who knew and loved her, she truly was a "Jewel." She lived her life according to the short poem, "Kindness" by Grellet: I shall pass through this world but once. If, therefore, there be any kindness I can show, Or any good thing I can do, Let me do it now; Let me not defer it or neglect it, For I shall not pass this way again. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1991; and a sister, Villa Day Resetaritz in 2003. Survivors include a son, Don Moore and wife Ruth; a daughter, Carolyn Davis and husband Mike; five grandchildren, Darren Moore, Amy Browning-Clark and Alison Moore all of Amarillo, Holly Davis of Dallas and Tim Davis of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; and three great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Dalton and Ian. Mrs. Thomasson was born Sept. 10, 1936, in Chester, Ill. the daughter of Tower B. and Emma Thomasson. Her early years were spent in Mounds, Ill., and after graduating from college she went to work as a medical lab technician and was employed by The City Hospital of Beaumont for more than 35 years. She recently moved to Hereford to live in a cottage at King's Manor Retirement Systems. She had been a Panhandle resident since 1939 and was a member of Sunray Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, O. B. Services will be at 11 a.m. today in Community Worship Center with the Rev. Michael Waterbury and Brent Thornton officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton. Mr. Savage was born May 2, 1920, in Cedarvale, Kan. He married Betty Clark on Aug. 23, 1941 in the Baptist parsonage in Pampa, and the love story spanned 65 years. They moved to the Notla community in 1946. The center of activities for the Notla community was an old school house. On Sunday mornings people would worship and lift up their voices in song. It was shortly after one of the Sunday morning services that Mrs. Ed Savage, Betty, Fay, Betty Fay, Donald and some neighbors were all baptized and became members of First Baptist Church in Perryton. After the kids were grown, Betty and Fay moved to their farm south of Waka. Fay was a farmer, raising wheat, milo and corn. His greatest love was always raising cattle. His farming expertise was known in the area, and he was awarded the Soil Conservationist Farmer of the Year. The last years Fay had enjoyed farming with his sons Donald and Russ, seeing all the grandkids, great-grandkids, and great-great-grandkids and spending time with Betty at the seasons. Coffee and meals were often with Sue Ann, and they could be seen laughing around the table. Fay was greatly loved by his family and those who knew him greatly respected him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar Lawrence and Anna Ellen Savage; a sister, Glennas Owens; a daughter Betty Fay Savage; and a son, Dustin Savage. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Amarillo and Perryton. Floyd Wilson was born Sept. 2, 1927, on the family farm near Hardesty, Okla. He married Sarah Norton on Feb. 25, 1953, and they celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary this year. He farmed and ranched in some of the same land previously settled by his parents in 1906. He received the Texas County Cooperator of the Year in 1990 and the 1991 Merit Award for Outstanding Accomplishment from the Texas County Conservation District. He retired from farming and ranching in 1998. He had a great love or farming, ranching, his family and friends. The family attended Bethel Baptist Church in the farming community for many years and later attended First Baptist Church in Perryton prior to moving to Amarillo in 2005 to be closer to his son and family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Olen and Myrtle Wilson; and three sisters, Hazel Kile, Ila Lehman and Opal Campbell. Glen was born Nov. 27, 1924, in Cuero, Texas, to Norman and Sophie Domann Wasserman. On April 21, 1946, Glen was married to Patricia Hyland in New York City. Mr. Wasserman was a veteran of the Army, serving in the 75th Infantry Division, 291st Infantry Regiment, Company "B" at the Battle of the Bulge during World War II.
