Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Dalhart Pentecostal Church in Dalhart with the Rev. Robert E. Field and Bernie Frazier officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Dalhart by Cox-LaGrone Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive, in Amarillo. Loretta was born June 20, 1932, in Dalhart and was raised there. She married Charlie Snyder in 1947 and was his wife, companion and homemaker. As a rancher's wife, she provided family structure to five children as Charlie worked for many area ranches such as the TO Cattle Co., 6666 Ranch, LS Ranch, Cross F Ranch, Snead Cattle Co. and the North Ranch. About 20 years ago, Loretta and Charlie relocated to Amarillo, where she continued her 14-year employment with Gebo's from Dalhart to Amarillo as Charlie worked for the Range Riders. As a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Loretta placed her family's needs and support over her own and never was one to ask for anything in return. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1996; a son, Robert, in 1982; a daughter, Sharon, in 2005; a grandson, Arnes, in 2002; three sisters; and four brothers. Survivors include two sons, Gary Snyder of Amarillo and David Snyder and wife LaDonna of Lubbock; a daughter, Charlotte Stull and husband Dale of Nara Visa, N.M.; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Box 950 Amarillo, TX 79105. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- George Lee Couch George Lee Couch, 63, of Amarillo died Sunday, March 25, 2007. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St., with the Rev. Robert Field officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Mr. Couch married Connie Jean Holzkamper on Nov. 8, 1992, in Amarillo. He was a kind-hearted, loving person and there was not anything he would not do for anyone. He adored his family and was a very loving husband and father. He loved riding his motorcycle, fishing, gambling and enjoyed playing gin. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife, Connie; two daughters, Carol Shepard of Amarillo and Teresa Gayle Sullivan of Coppell; a son, Wayne Couch of Oklahoma City; two stepdaughters, Coyletta Lovelady and Billie Jo Jella, both of Amarillo; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Services will be at a later date. Mr. Levario was born Jan. 17, 1972, in Amarillo. He worked at a convenience store as a clerk. Survivors include a sister, Marjorie Dunn of Otto; and three brothers, Nickolas Levario Jr. of Amarillo, Richard Levario of Grand Prairie and Billy Levario of Abilene. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Area Zola Marie Francies Tate SHAMROCK - Zola Marie Francies Tate, 81, died Sunday, March 25, 2007. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Dozier Cemetery in Dozier with the Rev. Terry Lowe, pastor of First United Methodist Church in Shamrock, and Richie Brotherton officiating. Arrangements are by Wright Funeral Directors. Zola Marie Francies Tate was born June 2, 1925, in Wynnewood, Okla., to Homer G. and Ida Belle Zora Reeves Francies. She moved to the Abra community in 1935. Zola attended schools at Abra, Dozier and Samnorwood. She married Floyd Elmer Tate on July 21, 1945, in Sayre, Okla. He preceded her in death on Jan. 17, 2003. Zola worked as a seamstress at Marie Foundation Factory in McLean for 22 1/2 years. She attended LVN school through Clarendon College in Clarendon and received her LVN degree. She worked at Shamrock General Hospital for 27 years. Zola was a member of Glen Davis Memorial Methodist Church in Dozier. Survivors include two sons, Dean and Marilyn Tate of Bluff City, Tenn., and Danny and Dottie Tate of Riesel; three sisters, Mae Lee and Lucile Butler, both of California, and Bernice Stice of Wichita Falls; three brothers, John Francies of Tulia, Joe B. Francies of Graford and Earl Murray Francies of Canyon; six grandchildren, Lynn Earnest Tate of Maine, Timothy and Laura Tate of Tennessee, Thad Tate of Riesel and Tammy and Kary Bush of Waco; and six great-grandchildren, Matthew and Mason Tate and Kayla and Emily Bush, all of Waco, and Mattie and Eli Hogan Tate of Bristol, Tenn. She was a member of First Assembly of God in Borger. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Tommy, on Sept. 2, 1999; and a son, Tommy D. Simmons, on Aug. 24, 2004. Jacobson, pastor of First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Mr. Dixon was born Feb. 11, 1923, in Guymon to Esta and Homer Dixon. He worked worldwide for Fluor Corp. for 38 years, building refineries and their supporting communities, living in England, Holland, Taiwan and Algeria. Survivors include his wife, Alice Margaret; two sons Michael Reck Dixon and Thomas Harold Dixon; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Richard C. Dixon; and a sister, Floy Marie Nash. Mrs. Donald was born May 3, 1946, in Borger, Texas, to Willie S. and Virginia Lou Stewart Mathis. She grew up in Amarillo and graduated from Amarillo High School and from Pomona College. She married the Rev. Gerald Nobles Blackburn, also of Amarillo, on Feb. 14, 1951. The Rev. Blackburn served as pastor of numerous Presbyterian churches throughout Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1996. Survivors include a son, Alan Blackburn and wife Meredith of Highlands Ranch, Colo.; two grandsons, Ryan Blackburn and Ross Blackburn; and a brother-in-law, Henry Blackburn of Colorado City.
