"Pat" Ely, 91, of Amarillo died Sunday, March 25, 2007. Memorial services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Park Place Towers Parlor with Jerry Bell, chaplain of Ware Memorial, officiating. Private burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd. Mary H. "Pat" Ely, beloved Mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away Sunday, March 25, 2007. Mrs. Ely was born March 31, 1915, in Merkel to H. P. and Gertrude Wilkins. She had lived in Amarillo since 1951 and was living at Ware Living Center at the time of her death. She retired from First Federal Savings & Loan in 1980. She was a member of Hillside Christian Church in Amarillo. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Hermon Ely, in 1996, after 61 years of marriage; and an infant son, Franklin Paul, in 1938. Survivors include two daughters, Sandy Wood and husband Monte of Sherman and Pat Clark and husband Lawton of Denver; a sister, Frances Johnson of Ware Memorial Center; four grandchildren, Monte Wood Jr. of Farmington, N.M., Peggy Oliphint and husband Scott of Philadelphia, Mike Wood of Richardson and Anne Jones and husband Adam of Lecanto, Fla.; and 10 great-grandchildren. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery by Cox-LaGrone Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive. Mrs. Lovato was born March 27, 1915, and raised in Albert, N.M. She married Zeke Lovato on Jan. 1, 1936, in Clayton, N.M. They moved to Amarillo from Clayton in 1957. She was a homemaker. She loved her Lord and her family with all of her heart. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1983; and two grandsons, Brian Lovato and Paul Lovato Jr. Survivors include two daughters, Patsy Brinkerhoff and Rudene Leach, both of Amarillo; four sons, Paul Lovato, Jerry Lovato, Zeke Lovato Jr. and Rick Lovato, all of Amarillo; two sisters, Inez McAlister and Carol Garcia, both of Albuquerque, N.M.; two brothers, Frank Jiminez of Albuquerque and Al Jiminez of Denver; 13 grandchildren; and more than 50 great-grandchildren. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Florene Robinson Florene Robinson, 77, of Amarillo died Tuesday, March 27, 2007. She graduated from Spearman High School and had lived in Amarillo for more than 30 years. She married Wayne Robinson in 1954 in Clovis, N.M. She was a homemaker and a Methodist. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Brown; an infant daughter, Rebecca Robinson; and a brother, William Dillow. She was a resident of Pampa before moving to Clarendon in 1976. She married Thomas Byron "Tom" Shults on May 1, 1950, in Carlsbad, N.M. She had taught schools in Anton, Pampa and Matador prior to her retirement. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Clarendon. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Maxine Spencer; and a son, Tommy Mack Shults, in 1956. Rose Hughs was born Oct. 23, 1914, in Wilmington, Del. She, along with her late husband, Joe Hughs, had been a longtime Nara Visa resident before moving to Amarillo about 20 years ago. Mrs. Allemand was born July 20, 1949, in Texhoma to Jessie Shannon and Ernest Eslinger. Her family was her world, she especially loved when they all came to visit. Arrangements are by Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home of Marble Falls. Bonnie L. Behm Binger, 63, died after a seven-year battle with cancer on March 26, 2007, at her home in Horseshoe Bay. Bonnie was born Oct. 23, 1943, in Howard, S.D., to Philip and Joy Behm. She graduated from Howard High School in 1961. She married Lanny Binger on Aug. 22, 1964, in Howard. They lived in Aberdeen, S.D., until 1969, then moved to Amarillo. In 1975 they moved to Wichita, Kan., and in 1998 they retired to Horseshoe Bay. She enjoyed playing bridge, hiking, traveling and spending time with her friends in Horseshoe Bay. She loved volunteering her time with many different organizations and spending time with her seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Philip and Joy Behm; and a brother, Ardell Behm.
