Mr. Corsivo was born Sept. 25, 1944, in Syracuse, N.Y., to Sam and Martha Corsivo. He had been a truck driver. Survivors include his wife, Linda Corsivo; three sons, Sam Corsivo of Syracuse, James Whitehead of Amarillo and Leland Whitehead of Illinois; a daughter, Michelle Neidert of Illinois; a brother, Joseph Corsivo; a sister, Marie Dungye; and six grandchildren. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ulric "Rick" Clyde Fleming Jr. Ulric "Rick" Clyde Fleming Jr., 47, formerly of Amarillo, died Friday, April 6, 2007, in Kenner, La. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Llano Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd. Rick was born May 13, 1959, to Ulric Clyde and Violet June Fleming in Amarillo. He attended Amarillo schools and worked as a plumber for several years in Amarillo. In 1993 he moved to Dallas, then traveled to Louisiana a few years ago to help with the Katrina disaster. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include a daughter, Erin Fleming of Amarillo; three sons, Ricky Fleming and wife Jennifer of Valle De Oro, Michael Fleming and wife Christy of Fritch and Chance Fleming of Mesquite; a sister, Sharon Conner of Bedford; and nine grandchildren. Arrangements are by Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors Martin Road Chapel, 1505 Martin Road. Wilma Ruth Boles of Amarillo was born May 25, 1926, to Robert and Shellie Mayfield in McMinnville, Tenn. She married Tom M. Boles on Jan. 3, 1958. He passed away on Sept. 11, 1995, three weeks after her son, Robert F. Knoy, died on Aug. 18, 1995. Mrs. Boles had lived in Amarillo for the last 44 years. She was a member of Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church and of the Amarillo Order of the Eastern Star Chapter No. 787. Special thanks to Odyssey Hospice for their care. She was also preceded in death by her parents. Dean H. Schaeffer was born Feb. 15, 1921, in Happy to George and Texie Evans Schaeffer. He married Doris Zielstra in 1951 in Albuquerque, N.M. She preceded him in death in 1983. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Forces and served from 1942 to 1946 during World War II. He later rejoined the Air Force and served until 1967. He owned a car dealership in Canyon for a number of years. He graduated from West Texas State College with a bachelor's degree in education and taught school in Amarillo. He was a member of Canyon Hills Church of Christ. She married Temple Abney on May 27, 1934, in Clayton, N.M. Mrs. Abney attended the University of Arkansas and graduated from West Texas State University with a master's degree in education. She taught school in Texline for more than 19 years. Mrs. Abney was a lifetime member of the Eastern Star, a lifetime member of the United Methodist Women's Association, a longtime member of Texline First United Methodist Church and a member of Hereford First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Temple; a brother, Ulmer Beatty; two sons-in-law, Charles Detten and Mike Niemeier; and a special cousin, Margaret Swagerty. Services are pending with Grimes Funeral Chapels of Kerrville. Lowell was born July 16, 1917, to Henry Oral and Maggie Campbell Bowdle in the family home, in the Kiowa community near Booker, Lipscomb County, where his mother was the postmaster. He was reared in the View Point Friends Church. He graduated from Booker High School and attended Texas Tech in Lubbock for a short period of time. He enlisted in the Army Air Corps on Dec. 19, 1941, arrived in England in June 1942 and was attached to the 423rd Signal Corps as a cryptographer. He served his country for four years in London, Paris and Wiesbaden. He was discharged from the service in November 1945 at Camp Fannin. He returned to Booker, where he managed the Lipscomb County Abstract Co. for 37 years. He served as school tax assessor-collector for Booker ISD, deputy sheriff and justice of the peace for the Booker area. He married Edra Ranson in 1946 in Lipscomb. He was active in the Booker Booster Club, Booker American Legion, Booker Volunteer Fire Department, Booker Country Club, Booker United Methodist Church, Perryton Chesterfield Club and Perryton Elks Club. He was awarded Booker's Best Booster in 1981. Lowell and Edra retired and moved to Kerrville in 1982, where they joined First United Methodist Church and the 20th (now 21st) Century Class. He was active in the Kerrville Trailblazers, German Club, AARP, HUH Club, Red Cross Bloodmobile, Sons of the American Revolution, bridge clubs and Elks Club. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Lloyd Bowdle of Kerrville and Harvey Bowdle of Kyle; a sister, Jean Hummer of Parsons, Kan.; and a niece, Jan Bowdle of Booker. Survivors include his wife of 60 years; a daughter, Myra and husband Kenneth Estep of San Angelo; a grandson, Parker Krantz and fiancee Jennifer Green of Fort Bragg, N.C.; a sister, Oleta Hibbs of Plano; a brother, G.B.
