Dunagan, 76, of Amarillo, formerly of Big Spring, died Thursday, May 10, 2007. Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. today in Peace Chapel at Trinity Memorial Park in Big Spring with Royce Clay officiating. Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. Monday in Southwest Church of Christ in Amarillo. Arrangements are by Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home of Big Spring. Mrs. Dunagan was born July 18, 1930, in Big Spring, and married M. A. "Son" Dunagan on April 2, 1948, in Big Spring. He preceded her in death on Aug. 12, 1992. Geneva was a longtime resident of Big Spring and worked as the lead pharmacy technician at the VA Medical Center. She moved to Amarillo in June 1995. She was a member of Southwest Church of Christ and a member of the Red Hat Society. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Judy Dunagan of Junction; a daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Michael Lewis of Amarillo; a brother, Roy Ray of El Paso; and two grandchildren, Michelle Rodgers and husband Brett of Amarillo and Lance Lewis and wife Sabrina of Lubbock. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 19, in First Christian Church in Spearman with the Rev. Jim Reeves officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Spearman. Mr. Brewer was born Nov. 3, 1964, in Pampa. He lived in Albuquerque, N.M., moving from Lubbock. He was a construction worker. Denny grew up in Waka, and attended grade school through middle school there. He played sports but loved playing basketball for the Waka Cubs. He later attended high school in Spearman. One of his mentors was Mrs. Marsha Murphy. Some of his favorite hobbies were arrowhead hunting, fishing, hunting and drawing and painting. One of his treasured memories was going to Canada to fish with his dad. He loved his family and his son, Cyrus. He was an outstanding artist, always making different types of artwork. Our brother, son, nephew, cousin and friend will be greatly missed. Our comfort is knowing he is now with our father. Mr. Alvarez was born March 17, 1936, in Colnia, Spanian, Mexico, to Elojico and Cruz Alvarez. He had lived in Plainview, Texas, moving to Cimarron County in the early 1970s.
