Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd., with the Rev. John Wagoner, retired United Methodist minister, officiating. Burial will be at 3 p.m. in Hansford Cemetery in Spearman. George Cator was born April 4, 1910, in Old Hansford, between Gruver and Spearman. He served with the U.S. Army in Australia and India during World War II. He returned home to his ranch in Eastern New Mexico until he retired and moved to Amarillo in 1976. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma; a sister, Annie; and four brothers, Bert, Marshall, Pete and John. Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews. The family suggests memorials be to a favorite charity. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Antonio Hernandez Acevedo Antonio Hernandez Acevedo, 41, of Amarillo died Saturday, May 12, 2007. Arthur St. Mr. Acevedo was born on Oct. 7, 1965, in Los Salados, Mexico. He was a minister. Mrs. Marable was born June 8, 1908, in Arnett, Okla., to Hansford Walter Forester and Ruth Gertrude Layne Forester. She lived and farmed in the Morse/Stinnett communities for most of her life.She was known as "Big Mom". She loved to garden and to cook. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Tab Womble in 1966 and Russell Marable; four daughters, Von Ceil, Molly, Dorothy & Marie, and three grandsons. Mrs. Cox was born Sept. 19, 1930, in Bristol, Tenn., to Ralph and Mandy Hammett Eades. She married Ray Cox in July 1973 in Raton, N.M. Duane was born on Dec. 14, 1948, in Canadian. He was a graduate of Canadian High School. Duane was a Veteran of the U. S. Army serving in Vietnam for two tours. He locally owned the DD and Highway 83 restaurant's in Canadian. He was currently working for G&RG trucking of Odessa and was a member of the Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Johnnie Golleher, his step- grandfather, Roger Batts and and his grandmother, Addie Golleher-Batts and an uncle, Don Golleher. Mrs. Replogle was born March 31, 1933, in Wellington to Wallace and Katie O'Rear. She was school nurse in Perryton for 24 years. She worked at Sanford and Ochiltree General Hospitals as a registered nurse. She was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church. She was proud of all her grandchildren and their many accomplishments. She was preceded in death by her husband, Max Replogle, her parents, two brothers, Junior and S.A. O'Rear and a sister, Dortha Cheatham. She was a homemaker and enjoyed painting, ceramics and decorating. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.
