Parker Wanda R. Parker, 53, of Canyon died Friday, May 18, 2007. Praise and Worship services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Believers Way Church with the Rev. Kirk Pearson officiating. Burial will be at 9 a.m. in Memorial Park Cemetery by Holley Funeral Home, 11th St. and Highway 60. Wanda was born Jan. 24, 1954, in Chickasha, Okla., to David and Ruth Ford Dunn. She married Aaron Parker on Nov. 14, 1981, in Amarillo. Wanda worked in accounts receivable for Amarillo National Bank. Survivors include her husband, Aaron and Casey; a sister, Barbara Aday of Amarillo; two brothers, Eddie Dunn of Abilene and James Dunn of Amarillo; and her stepmother Lois Dunn of San Angelo. The family suggests memorials be to Believers Way Legacy Center, 6215 Canyon Drive, Amarillo, TX 79109. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Amarillo Geraldine Ruth Gray Geraldine Ruth Gray, 79, of Amarillo, died Thursday, May 17, 2007. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Comanche Trail Church of Christ with Loran Harper and Glen Walton, ministers, officiating. A service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Cherokee Church of Christ in Cherokee. Burial will be in Gray Cemetery in Cherokee by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd. Geraldine was born Oct. 12, 1927, in Cherokee to Noble and Margie Thompson. She was born and raised in Cherokee. She married Charles "Cheezy" Gray on Jan. 15, 1947. They moved to Canadian in 1948, and Amarillo in 1954. Geraldine taught math and science at Travis Jr. High for several years. Geraldine opened a children's clothing store "Kiddie Korral" in 1978. She was a member of Lawndale and North Amarillo Church of Christ before retiring to Cherokee in 1991 where she attended Cherokee Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles "Cheezy" Gray; parents, Noble and Margie Thompson; two sisters, Noble Lee Smith and Wilma Journeay; and a granddaughter, Stephanie Gray. Survivors include two sons, Douglas Gray and James Gray and wife Cindy; two grandsons, Mike Gray and wife Natalie and David Gray and wife Hollee; a granddaughter, Anna Gray; and eight great-grandchildren, Beau, Drew, Emily, Brylee, Taylor, Cy, Will and Heidi Gray. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 16, in First United Methodist Church with John Curry and Robin Gantz officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd. Ms. Gist was born May 23, 1953, in Canyon to Bonnie and R. B. Gist Jr. She graduated from Canyon High School in 1971 and Abilene Christian in 1975. She received her MBA degree from West Texas State University. After serving 17 years in El Paso, Amarillo and Panhandle, she retired from the extension service as a county extension agent. At the time of her death, she was a professional artist. She was the 2003 Pampa Fine Art's Association artist of the year. She was also a member of the Pampa Fine Arts Club, P.E.O., Ko Jo Kai, the Panhandle Piecemakers Quilt Guild and the Weatherly Sunday School Class of First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, R. B. Gist Jr. in 1991 and her husband, Richard Scott Harrelson in 2002. Survivors include her mother, Bonnie Gist Grisham and husband Gordon of North Richland Hills; two brothers, Roger Gist III and wife Freida of Canyon, and Robert Gist and wife Beth of Colorado Springs; three nieces, Alaina Gist and Emily Gist, both of Colorado Springs, and Lara Leigh Beckwith of Tampa, Fla.; two nephews, Roger B. Maria was married to her husband, Francisco Guerrero for 63 years and was a homemaker most of her life. Survivors include her husband; five sons, Arturo and Jose Guerrero, both of Mexico, Aurelio Guerrero of Edmonson, Efren Guerrero of Odessa and Raul Guerrero of Plainview; four daughters, Socorro Rosales of Mexico, Olivia Reyes of Odessa, Guadalupe Rodriguez of Las Cruces, N.M., and Herlinda Guerrero of Hart; three brothers, David and Jose Gonzales, both of Mexico, and Lorenzo Gonzales of Los Angeles; 29 grandchildren; and 41 great-grandchildren.
