Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, 6969 E. Interstate 40, with Bishop Kyle A. Vest, of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Hebert was born June 14, 1930, in Seminole, Okla., to Opal and Dovie Ivey. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Hebert; and two brothers, Lonnie and Leroy Ivey. Survivors include a brother, Lawrence Odell Ivey. The family suggests memorials be to the American Cancer Society, 3915 Bell Street, Amarillo, TX 79109. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Area Corene Childress WELLINGTON - Corene Childress, 85, died Sunday, June 24, 2007. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. James Ikner, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery by Adams Funeral Home of Wellington. Mrs. Childress was born March 7, 1922, in Wellington to Clyde and Willie Pearl Simpson Emmert. She married Herman Childress on Sept. 12, 1942. Survivors include a daughter, Karen Jensen of Marietta, Ga.; two brothers, John Emmert of Rocklin, Calif., and Jack Aaron of Burkburnett; three sisters, Nancy Harris and Joy Emmert, both of Wellington and Patsy Meyer of Hugoton, Kan.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery by Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Mrs. Hyatt was born Nov. 6, 1917, in Seminole. She married Audrey Hyatt on July 13, 1938. He preceded her in death on Nov. 4, 1999 Survivors include two sons, Claud Hyatt of Clayton, N.M., and Earl "Mike" Hyatt of Amarillo; a brother, Burt Elam of Olton; a granddaughter, Lynna Broyles of Steamboat Springs, Colo.; a great-great-grandchild, Emma Jewel Broyles; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Fonseca was born Oct. 13, 1982, in Hale Center. He was married to Juanita Rodriguez and worked at Wal-Mart Distribution Center in Plainview. Survivors include his wife; his parents, Richardo Bosquez and Mary Ann Fonseca, both of Plainview; two brothers, Domingo Lopez and Antonio Lopez III, both of Olton; and a sister, Veronica Aviles of Ballinger. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Louise Miller Frost PAMPA - Louise Miller Frost, 82, died Sunday, June 24, 2007. Services will be at 10 a.m. today in Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with the Rev. Leland Lewis, pastor of First Assembly of God, officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mrs. Frost was born Feb. 16, 1925, in Navarro and moved to Pampa in 1930. She was a member of First Assembly of God and was an accomplished homemaker, seamstress and artist. Survivors include a daughter, LaWanda Ewing of Fort Worth; two sons, Gary Frost of McLean and Tim Frost of Fort Worth; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Mrs. Hackler was born Dec. 6, 1911, in Waxahachie to Charles and Minnie Bryant Taylor. She married Earl Hackler on June 22, 1930, in Hollis, Okla. She was active as a Busy Beaver Quilter, and served as treasurer for the Senior Citizens. She taught art classes at the nursing home. Fairy was a member of Fairview Church of Christ. Her motto was "Don't let a day pass without doing something to help someone." She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 1973; two brothers, Buford and Clarence Taylor; and three sisters, Rosie Sims, Cle Williams and Margaret Taylor. Survivors include a son, Jim Hackler of Rockport; a brother, Bud Taylor of Amarillo; a sister, Vel Smith of Childress; four grandchildren; four great- grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Orville W. Terry PAMPA - Orville W. Terry, 90, died Monday, June 25, 2007, in Amarillo. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Robertson Chapel Of Memories with the Rev. Lance Wood, pastor of First Baptist Church in Clarendon, officiating. Mrs. Owen was born March 28, 1923, in Lindsay, Okla., to Harvey and Ruth Tooten Arnold. She was a resident of the Chickasha and Verden, Okla., areas most of her married life and had lived in Clarendon since July 2005. She married Wesley Odell "Shorty" Owen on Oct. 6, 1938, in Lawton. He was a contractor in the Chickasha area most of his life. Mrs. Owen had been an active volunteer in the Girl Scout and Brownie organizations much of her life. She was a member of the Verden Senior Citizens Association and was very involved in most of their activities. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist Church in Verden. She was preceded in death by her husband Dec. 7, 1995; a daughter, Jean Arnold on Sept. 7, 2002; and her sister, Norma Taylor in 2005. Survivors include a daughter, Susie Dale and husband Frank of Howardwick; four grandchildren, Joe Kerby of Salado, Karla Fowler of Oklahoma City, Sherry Lyons and Frankie Dale, both of Amarillo; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. Our dearest Joyce passed from this life on Friday, June 15, 2007. Regina Joyce Taylor was born Dec. 18, 1934, in Borger, Texas, to Quint and Bernice Taylor. Joyce embraced life. She had the heart of a lion, the soul of a saint, and the intellect of a scholar. She was a gift to all who knew her. Joyce loved life and lived it to its fullest. She was fiercely independent, kind to a fault, open, caring, and giving of herself to others. An adventurous spirit led her to live and work in places like Ten Sleep, Wyo.; Drake, Colo.; Carlsbad, Raton, Clovis, and Cimarron, N.M.; Alpine, Amarillo, Andrews, and Canadian, Texas, and Moab. Her favorite pastimes were cruising with her dogs hanging out the window, finding a bargain at the thrift store, and watching the Denver Broncos play. Among her vocations were: water plant operator, rancher, activities director, truck driver, oil field dispatcher, and wildflower seed harvester. Joyce was a joy to have in our lives. She is deeply missed. She left behind a loving family her husband, Terry; a sister, Belle; three children, Jim, Michelle, and Laura; a niece, Cindy; a nephew, Scott; six grandchildren, Shane, Tasha, Christy, Travis, Jamie and Stephen; and four great-grandchildren, Morgan, Ashley, Haley, and Drake.
