Georgia St. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Mary's Catholic Church with Monsignor Harold Waldow celebrating. Private family burial will be at 9 a.m. Monday in Llano Cemetery. Mrs. Bradburn was born Oct. 17, 1914, in Amarillo to Charles and Mary Herbert. She graduated from St. Mary's Academy in 1933. She married Roy Bradburn on Feb. 18, 1939, in Amarillo. Mrs. Bradburn was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, past president of St. Anthony's Hospital Auxiliary and a member of St. Mary's Martha Club. Mrs. Bradburn was also an avid bridge player. She was the very best "Nannie" to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a sister. Survivors include her husband, Roy Bradburn; three daughters, Nancy Cantrell and husband Jim of Abilene, Sally Bober and husband Phil of McKinney and Julie Camp and husband Steve of Amarillo; a sister, Betty Ann Priest of Clovis, Calif.; seven grandchildren, Kelly, Kevin, Nicholas, Lara, Jeffrey, Clint and Willson; five great-grandchildren; and special friends, Sandra Vasquez, Carmen and Martha. Holm, 66, of Amarillo died Wednesday, June 27, 2007. Ms. Holm was born Sept. 21, 1940, in Chicago, Cook County, Ill., to Patrick and Virginia Brennan. She had a gift for bonding with people, which she utilized professionally in customer service in Chicago and as she built two successful businesses in Albuquerque, N.M. She later relocated to Amarillo where she resumed her efforts to serve the public. Ms. Holm dearly loved people regardless of their station in life and greatly enjoyed providing for those around her. She gained a reputation as a willing ear and confidant to those for whom she provided in her personal life and in her career. Her love of life and sense of adventure will be missed by all who called her "Mom." We would like to thank all of the staff of BSA Hospice and Country Club Nursing & Rehabilitation Center for their help and support. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St. Jim was born Dec. 7, 1929, in Floydada to N.T. and Eva Dee House. After graduating from Brownfield High School, he entered the University of Texas at Austin. Originally planning on being an engineer, he changed his path and instead completed his last year as an undergraduate and his first year of law school at the same time. His law school education was interrupted by service in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and by his marriage to Marilyn Maynard in 1952. In 1954, after completing his service and rising to the rank of lieutenant junior grade, he returned to Austin and completed law school. Graduating with high honors in 1956, he moved to Amarillo to begin a long and fruitful practice of law with the firm then known as Gibson, Ochsner, Harlan, Kinney & Morris. He remained with that firm (as it grew and changed names, eventually becoming Gibson, Ochsner and Atkins) for nearly 50 years. After retiring from that firm, he became counsel to Corporate Systems. In addition to being a well-respected attorney, Jim chaired or served on the boards of many groups, including the Amarillo Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, Amarillo Council of Camp Fire Girls, the Amarillo Club and Amarillo Country Club. During different periods of his life, Jim was a hunter, an avid sailor, a pilot, but always retained his enthusiasm for golf. His retirement was made joyful by the three to four rounds of golf he was able to play each week. Survivors include his wife, Marilyn; and a daughter, Pam House of Clear Lake Shores. Miller Dr. Lucinda G. Miller, 49, of Amarillo died Saturday, May 26, 2007. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Polk Street United Methodist Church with the Rev. Miller was born Aug. 7, 1957, the second of two children to Rolland and Marilyn Glantz, both deceased, of Hastings, Neb. She married Eric Miller in June 1984 in First Congregational United Church of Christ in Hastings, and they had two daughters, Elyse Danielle and Courtney Leigh. Dr. Miller obtained her doctorate degree in pharmacy from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Neb., in May 1980. She graduated at the top of her class at West Texas A&M University in professional counseling in 2000. She wrote or edited more than 100 publications and received a half-million dollars in research grants in her professional career as well as a copyright, patent and teaching awards. She served on the faculties of the University of Houston College of Pharmacy, Baylor College of Medicine Department of Family Medicine (Houston), Methodist Hospital (Houston) and the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She was licensed as a pharmacist and psychotherapist and was board certified in pharmacotherapy and grief therapy. She graduated third in her class at Adams Central High School. She was active in Polk Street United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Genesis Sunday School Class and served on the administrative board. She provided the laity sermon in June 2004 and offered group grief therapy through the church. She was a member of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy and the Texas Counseling Association, and was a board member of the Amarillo Area Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. Until recently, she served as a mental health columnist for "Amarillo Style." She was a victim of discrimination and fought back and won, for herself, her daughters and all who need a voice. After being diagnosed with cancer in July 2006, she succumbed to her fight on May 26, 2007. Survivors include her immediate family; her older sister, Kathy Gruba of Hastings; a maternal aunt; four first cousins; two nieces; three nephews; two great-nieces; and a great-nephew. Demerson, pastor of Emmanuel Church of God in Christ, assisting. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery by Golden Gate Mortuary, 1416 N. Hughes St. Mr. Wilson was born Aug. 20, 1925, in Hubbard to Lemuel Esolean Henderson and Rentia Wilson. He attended Antioch Elementary School. He later moved to Fort Worth, where he was employed by Armour Packing Co. He joined the U.S. Naval Reserve in 1943 and was honorably discharged. He moved to Amarillo in 1952 and later married Jerolene Baldwin on Dec. 5, 1953. They were married 53 years. He was also employed by Dalby Transfer & Storage Co., Amarillo Hardware and Armstrong Transfer Storage. Later he worked for the VA Hospital until his health began to fail him. He was preceded in death by his mother and father; and a brother, Charles Wilson. Survivors include his wife, Jerolene; a son, John T. Bowser and wife Minnie of Amarillo; three brothers, Etter F. Wilson, Monroe Wilson and wife Dorothy and Leroy Wilson, all of Fort Worth; four grandchildren; seven great- grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and a host of relatives and friends.
