Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. today in Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, 6969 E. Interstate 40, with the Rev. Michael Erickson of Zion Lutheran Church officiating. Private family committal services will be at a later date. Buster was born Dec. 18, 1924, to Frank and Cora Beenders of Benson, Ill. He farmed the home place until 1965, taking a job with National By-Products for health reasons. He managed the rendering plant at Galesburg, Ill., and later as General Manager of the Hide Operations. He was a board member of the National Hide Association for four years. In 1978, he moved to Amarillo to work for Beatrice Foods as a manager of Hide Operations. He was a pilot for 22 years. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Thelma Woltzen Folkerts and Leona Woltzen. Survivors include a son, Gene Everett of Los Angeles; a daughter, Bonnie K. Brown and husband Buddy of Amarillo; and a grandchild, Candice Brown. The family suggests memorials be to BSA Hospice, 800 N. Sumner, Pampa, TX 79065; or Pampa or BSA Hospice, P.O. Garrison Geraldine F. Garrison, 90, of Amarillo died Wednesday, June 27, 2007. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Garrison was born July 15, 1916, in Vinson, Okla., to Edgar and Alice Farris. She had lived in Amarillo for 59 years and was a member of Northridge Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Garret Lee. Survivors include two sons, M.P. Garrison and wife Mary and Darrel Garrison and wife Ann, all of Amarillo; four grandchildren, Mechiell Bertucci and husband Tory and Matt Garrison, all of Garland, Tana Bray and husband Ruston of Amarillo and Dusty Garrison and wife Stacy of Magnolia; and four great- grandchildren, Isabel Bertucci of Hurst, Haden Bray and Halee Bray, both of Amarillo, and Kirstie Garrison of Magnolia. She married Alvin Miller on Feb. 14, 1929. She had been a resident of Canadian most of her life before moving to Pampa in 1964. She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Ralph Gross; and two grandsons, Gregg Miller and Woody Miller. Burial will be in Dumas Cemetery by Morrison Funeral Directors. Mrs. Pax was born Feb. 16, 1922, in Hamilton County to George and Johanna Tiemann. On July 18, 1940, she married Herbert Ernst Pax at Zion Lutheran Church in Priddy. He preceded her in death on Jan. 23, 1992. She had been a resident of Dumas since 1949 and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. She was a homemaker and enjoyed people. Hertha spent her lifetime serving as a caregiver to the elderly. Survivors include two sons, Milton Pax and wife Sandy and Elton Pax and wife Joyce, all of Dumas; six grandchildren, Janna, Javonna, Sandra, Dawn, Robin and Jason; and 12 great-grandchildren.
