Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today in Fairview Cemetery in Memphis with Charlie Cox officiating. Arrangements are by Cox-LaGrone Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive. Marybeth was born Nov. 25, 1952, in Borger. She was born with Down syndrome. She lived in Abilene and Lubbock before moving to Amarillo. She lived at the Amarillo State Center before moving to Advo Companies in 1991. She loved dancing, spending time with her housemates and going to Special Friends Camp in Wellington, the Dumas Hoe Down and the Special Olympics. She touched the lives of many. She was preceded in death by her parents, Myrtle and Oliver Alvis Tamplen. Survivors include two sisters, Mae Jeffers and Joyce Ham, both of Memphis; a brother, Oliver Alvis Tamplen of Elizabeth City, N.C.; numerous nieces and nephews; and her Advo family who loved her very much. "Bill" Ritchie QUANAH - W.R. "Bill" Ritchie, 78, died Thursday, July 12, 2007. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in First Baptist Church with Johnny Horton of Quanah and Kent Rollins of Hollis, Okla., officiating. Burial will be in Quanah Memorial Park by Smith Funeral Home. Mr. Ritchie was born Feb. 9, 1929, in Quanah to Joseph Richard and Cora Mayfield Ritchie. He married Joyce Barnett on Aug. 10, 1954, in Quanah. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Sandra Ritchie and Caroline Robinson, both of Quanah; a son, Billy Ray Ritchie of Quanah; a sister, Shirley Thornton of Quanah; and three brothers, Ray Ritchie of Quanah, Roy Ritchie of Lubbock and Jerry Ritchie of Shallowater. Mrs. Burgett was born June 10, 1918, to Clyde Jeremiah and Nellie Lorena Keeling Mullinax in Grady. She taught for 181/2 years in the Texico public school system. She married Carl Hanshu on April 19, 1942, in Seguin, Texas.
