Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors Ivy Chapel, 2820 Virginia Circle. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors. Mrs. Lemons was born in Amarillo and had been a lifetime resident. She graduated from Amarillo High School in 1951. She owned and operated That Precious Store in Western Plaza and Westgate Mall. She was a member of Pleasant Valley Christian Church and the Floyds Sunday school class. She married Weldon Lemons on Nov. 10, 1950, at Amarillo. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Cathy Lockhart of Amarillo; two sons, Rick Lemons of Amarillo and Steve Lemons of Dallas; a sister, Dorothy Aurouze of Amarillo; two brothers, Floyd J. Bingham Jr. of Amarillo and Jake Bingham of Houston; and five grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to Pleasant Valley Christian Church, 327 E. Valley, Amarillo, TX 79108. The family will receive friends after the memorial service at the funeral home.
