ALLEN, M.D. of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas      He passed the regular examination before the Board of Medical Examiners of the state of Missouri 01 May 1902.   The Texas State Board of Medical Examiners certified him to practice medicine in Texas and this was filed in Rains County, Texas, 10 August 1905. Dr. W.E. BALLARD     Texas State Board of Medical Examiners certified him to practice medicine in Texas 14 September 1899. D.T. BANDY, M.D. of Smith County, Texas       The Texas State Board of Medical Examiners granted him, upon verification, the right to practice medicine and surgery in Texas, 20 January 1908.  He was born in Lindale, Texas.  The "school of medicine he professes to belong to is regular medicine...." Dr. W. R. BARRY       Texas State Board of Medical Examiners agreed that he was qualified to practice medicine in the state of Texas, 29 December 1892.  Filed for record in Rains County, Texas, 01 April 1908. Received a certificate from the State of Tennessee for completion of courses at the Memphis Hospital Medical College, 27 April 1899. J.P. BLACK, M.D. of Tarrant Co., Texas     The Texas State Board of Medical Examiners authorized him to practice medicine and surgery in Texas, 09 July 1908; filed for record in Rains County, Texas, July 1910. Charles M. COOK of Dixon, Hunt County, Texas       Texas State Board of Medical Examiners certified his diploma which was issued by the Louisville Medical College, Louisville, Kentucky and dated 02 March 1893; he was certified to practice medicine in Texas 14 March 1902. L. FAULK, M.D. of Hopkins County, Texas       The State of Texas authorized and licensed him to practice medicine in Texas; the license was granted upon verification, 29 November 1907.  He was 33 years of age; his post office address was Emory; he was born at Hawkins, Wood Co., Texas.  The "school of practice to which he professes to belong is regular medicine....".  Filed in Rains County, Texas, 09 March 1908. T.E. GARRETT      The State Board of Dental Examiners gave him a permanent certificate and license for dentistry in Texas, 30 December 1908.  He passed satisfactorily examination before the Board.  Filed for record in Rains County, Texas, 04 April 1912.      Those signing this certificate as members of the State Board of Dental Examiners were:         J.M. MOODY of Coryell, Coryell County, Texas       His diploma issued by the Medical Dept. Nashville University, Nashville, Tennessee, was certified 04 March 1902.  The diploma was dated 29 March 1901. P.W. PEARSON of Hunt County, Texas       Certificate of qualification to practice medicine in Texas was issued 16 February 1901 and filed in Rains County, Texas, 06 May 1905. P.W. PEARSON of Rains County, Texas      Certified to practice medicine in Texas; issued 20 March 1908      He was 26 years old; his post office address was Emory; he was born at Jacobia, Texas.  The certificate was filed in Rains County, Texas, 23 March 1908. SIMMONS, John     Veterinarian in Rains Co. (info. taken from "Looking Back..." photo for 26 Aug 1997 issue;  photo was taken 1939) M.B. SMITH of Smith County, Texas      Received a certificate of qualification to practice medicine in Texas 21 January 1901;  filed for record in Rains County, Texas, 13 July 1903.
