Splawn sold to Igo Garrett 57 1/2 acres on the waters of Creek about 14 miles NE from Clarksville, land which was originally part of the Gabe Martin survey, beginning at stake north of Collier Creek near the foot of the hill of the NE corner of 76.8 acres sold to Fred Collier. Igo Garrett paid A.H. Splawn $5.00 plus turned over 3 promissory notes held by him: 1 in the amount of $39 and 2 in the amount of $38.00 each. These notes were originally given by Henry Huff to A.A. Burney and E.A. Fuller and were dated Feb. 15, 1894, payable on 15 Feb 1895, 1896 and 1897 respectively.
