Day,Dec'd., as entered of record in Volume O, Page 188 of the probate minutes of Red River County, Texas Know All Men by These Presents: That I, Lemuel Day, of the County of Red River, State of Texas, being of sound mind and memory and understanding, do make this my Last Will and Testament, to-wit: 1st. After the payment of my just debts and all necessary expenses, I bequeath to my wife, Sally, and to my dauighter, Ada Jumina, all personal and real estate property I possess, to jointly hold and possess the same until the death of my wife, Sally, then the right and title to the land and of my remaining effects, to vested in my daughter, Ada Jumina. 2nd. In case my daughter, Ada Jumina, should died without issue, then the right and title to vest to the living children of my second wife, Mary (Gowen). IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I hereunto set my hand and seal on this, the 5th day of July, 1888, in the presence of the witnesses named below. L. Day Witnesses: J. W. Moore, N. B. Day, Deceased, as entered of record in Volume O, Page 185, Probate Minutes of Red River County, Texas Tuesday, October 19, 1888. On this day came to be heard, the application of Sally Day to probate the instrument now here in Court presented, purporting to be the Last Will and Testament of Lemuel Day, deceased; whereupon, came into N. B. Duncan and J. W. Moore, subscribing witnesses to said instrument and made proof in open Court of the due execution of said instrument by said Lemuel Day, as his Last Will and Testament, in the presence of said witnesses. And, it appearing to the court that Lemuel Day has departed this life and due notice of this application having been given and there being no objections filed, it is ordered by the court that the instrument now here in court presented, dated the 5th day of July, 1888, having been duly proven to be the LAst Will and Testament of the said Lemuel Day, dec'd., be and the same is hereby now so declared and ordered to be recorded in the minutes of the court, together with the testimony of the witnesses herein taken. It is further ordered that Letters of Administration with the will annexed issue to the applicant, Sally Day, and that she enter into bond in the sum of $1500 and take and subscribe the oath prescribed by law and file said bond and oath with the clerk duly approved by the court before such letters issue. It is further ordered that John R. Ward, J. W. VanDyke and J. W. (Lee) Wooldridge, well known to me and to whose credibility I hereby certify and who, after being by me duly sworn, deposes and says: That affiant is the daughter of L. Day and his wife, Sally Day, who in their lifetimes, owned certain lands on the William Becknell survey in Red River County, Texas, about six miles westerly from Clarksville
