I, Michael Beirne a native of Ireland, and a subject of Great Britttan, on oath, Say, that I am forty five years of age, that I emmigrated from Ireland to the United States of America, in July A.D. (1871) eighteen hundred and seventy one and that it is bona fide my intention to become a citizen of the United States and to renounce former all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereign whatever, and particularly to Victoria, Queen of Great Brittan and Empress of India.
