Ed Toups [John Edmond] of Refugio died at
Corpus Christi yesterday morning [July 5] and the 
remains were buried there this morning at 9 o'clock.  
In response to a 'phone message Mrs. Tom Hathaway, his 
sister, [Minerva Adeline Toups] went to Corpus yesterday.  
Mr. Toups leaves a widow and five children to mourn his death.
