W. Woods, Judge of said Court: Now comes Columbia White, a feme sole, who resides & has her domicile in the county of Robertson, state of Texas, and shows to the court that Frank White is a boy and a minor ____ years of age, residing in the said county of Robertson, and state of Texas, and is without any lawful guardian of his person or estate. That said minor is entitled to an estate, consisting of personal property, the same being in the form of an unsatisfied judgment in his favor against the Houston and Texas Central Railroad Company, rendered in the District Court of Robertson County, Texas, at its June Term, A.D. 1908, the style of said suit being Mrs. Columbia White, sueing for herself and as next friend for Frank White, a minor, said judgment being of the probable value of one hundred and fifty ($150.00) dollars; that the father of said minor is dead, and that your applicant is the mother of said minor; that your applicant is in no way disquallified and is a proper person to act as guardian of the person and estate of said minor. Wherefore, she prays that notice of this her application be given as required by law, and that she be appointed guardian of the person and estate of said minor. ___________________ Attorneys for applicant On this the 25th day of July, A. D. 1908, came on to be heard the application of Mrs. Columbia White for letters of guardianship upon the person and estate of Frank White, a minor over the age of fourteen years; and it appearing to the court that the said minor has waived the issuance of citation by personnal service and made choice of his mother, Mrs. Columbia White, the applicant herein; and it further appearing to the court that the said Frank White is without any lawful guardian of his person or estate; and that the said Mrs. Columbia White is in no way disquallified and is a proper person to receive letters of guardianship on the person and estate of the said Frank White. It is therefore ordered, adjudged and decreed by the court that the said Mrs. Columbia White be and she is hereby appointed guardian of the person and estate of the said Frank White, and that letters of guardianship isssue to her upon giving bond in the sum of Three Hundred Dollars, payable and conditioned as required by law and taking the oath within twenty days from the date of this order. It is further ordered that Jake Bennett, R. L. Gunter and Webb Hearn be and they are hereby appointed appraisers to make due appraiament of said estate and make due return of same to this court. Guardianship of Frank White, a minor, No. 1186, in the County Court of Robertson, County, Texas July Term, A.D. 1908 Now comes Frank White, a minor of the age of fourteen years, and waives the issuance and service of citation by personal service and chooses his mother, Mrs. Columbia White as guardian of his person and estate. Frank White The State of Texas, County of Robertson Know all men by these presents: That we, Columbia White a feme sole, as principal, and L. V. Holbert and R. R. Holbert as sureties, are held and firmly bound unto J. W. Woods, County Judge of Robertson County, Texas, and to his successors in office, in the sum of Three Hundred ($300.00) Dollars, conditioned that the above bound Columbia White, who has been appointed by the County Court of Robertson Co., Texas, guardian of the person & estate of Frank White, a minor, will faithfully discharge the duties of guardian of the person and estate of the said minor according to law.
