One Bill Jones, a desperado, was shot and killed yesterday by John Walker, at
his home at Head’s Prairie in Robertson county. Jones went to Walker’s house,
armed with two six-shooters. Walker requested him to lay aside his arms and
come in like a gentleman, when he drew one of the revolvers to shoot; then
Walker shot and killed him with a shot gun.
