All rights reserved http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm *********************************************************** The Evening News Ada Oklahoma - 1907 11 Feb 1907 Halford-Edmiston Mr. and Mrs. William Edmiston of Ada, Indian Territory, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Margaret Eleanor, and Mr. L. Halford of Rockwall, Tex. The marriage will be performed at the bride’s home, in West End, on the evening of Tuesday, February 12. Only a limited number of friends will be present. Rev. C. E .Robertson of the First Presbyterian Church will perform the ceremony. The bride, who is very charming, is a member of one of the oldest and most aristocratic families of Tennessee, and she has many friends both in Nashville and in Ada. Mr. Halford is one of the most influential business men of Rockwall, Texas, and is President of the Farmers National Bank at that place. Immediately after the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Halford will leave for “Willow Brook” his country home, near Rockwall, Texas—Nashville (Tenn.)
