(UP) A 6-year-old boy, who had left the Texas town of Rockwall not knowing he had been bitten by a rabid dog, underwent treatments today that will save his life. The boy, King Lear, son of Mr. and Mrs. B. C. Lear, of Dallas, had been the object of a wide-spread search throughout the South and Southwest. Mrs. Lear said she “accidentally heard” a radio broadcast on Monday that the child would die in a few days unless he was found. The child was bitten by the dog last week when the family stopped at a Rockwall grocery. ---
