The boy is traveling somewhere in the East with his parents. No one in Rockwall knows the identity of the parents or the boy, about four years old. The dog bit the boy Tuesday in a Rockwall grocery where the family stopped for refreshments. They were driving east on U. S. Highway 67. The mother was upset when the dog bit the child but the father calmed her down since the bite did not appear to be serious. They continued on their trip. The dog died Thursday. Examination at the state laboratory in Austin, Tex., revealed late Friday that the dog was rabid. The child will almost surely die unless he receives anti-rabies shots soon. A person bitten by a rabid dog who does not receive the injections seldom lives beyond 14 days. Dobbs asked that the family telephone him collect at any hour. His telephone number is 2-3230 Rockwall, Tex. ---
