Died At Old Fate, very suddenly, of conjestion, last Friday, J. G. Loving, 
in the fifty seventh year of his age. A large church full  of friends and neighbors, 
a hundred or more of Royal Arch and master masons, five ministers of the gospel, and 
bitter tears and sighs, attested his popularity while they placed his body beneath the 
turf on the sunny slopes of Zion.
He was everything a man ought to be and nothing that he ought not to be. He as a mild 
mannered man and the universal verdict would be, "There is a place prepared for him."
The soldiers war on earth is done
The farmer's plough's laid  by,
The christian soul to heaven is gone
Farwell, old comrade, goodbye.
