Joe M. Loving of Royse City, Dies
Joe Merritt Loving, 78, retired farmer an stockman, died at 4o'clock Tusday afternoon at his 
home in Royse City.  Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock  this afternoon at the Baptist 
Church in Royse City,   conducted by the pastor, Rev. Nolan Boughton and Rev. O. O. O. Newton. 
Burial will be in the Royse City Cemetery.  Pallbears will be; J. M. Cookston, H. C. Green, Joe
 VanCleave and C. R. Gentry, Jim Blakeway and Joe Fling.  Arrangements are in charge of the 
Royse City Funeral Home.  A native of Farmersville, Mr. Loving was born on April 24, 1977. 
He moved to Royse City when 20 years of age and had since resided there. He as a successful 
farmer and community leader for many years before his retirement.  He was married to Bessie 
Fitzpatrick, of Fate, on April 17, 1897.
Surviving are his wife and three sons, Guy Loving, Royse City; Carroll Loving, Garland 
and Allen Loving, Dallas; one daughter Miss Jessie Loving, Terrell; and three grandchildren.
