Rev. J. C. Griffin, pastor of the Bethel Baptist church will be in charge, assisted by Rev. Hubert Thompson, a grandson of Mr. Lett. Spill Funeral home will have charge of arrangements. Mr. Lett was born Sept. 8, 1858, in Wetonka [Wetumpka], Ala., and was married to the former Miss Sarah Emma Estes Sept. 7, 1877. The couple celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary last September. The couple has lived in Texas since 1900. After settling in Bell county, they moved to Haskell county in 1906, and lived there until moving to Winters in 1943. Survivors include the wife; three daughters, Mrs. C. W. Williams of Winters, Mrs. W. P. Curtis of Rule, and Mrs. Charles Copeland of Blair; and one son, A. J. Lett Jr, of Winters.
