S. Love Mrs. Mary Estelle Love, 77 died in a Tyler hospital Wednesday morning after extended illness which became critical last Sunday. She had been in Tyler for a visit with Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Hayley several weeks. A pioneer citizen of Ballinger, decedent is the last of her family. She was married to Dr. A. S. Love, early day Ballinger surgeon and physician, while he was a medical student at Galveston in 1896, and the couple moved to Ballinger to make home in 1897, residing here ever since. Dr. Love died at his home here four years ago. Mrs. Love was an active worker in First Baptist Church here and for many years was an executive of the Baptist State Board of Missions. Funeral services are to be held this afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at the First Baptist Church, Rev. B. J. Martin to officiate. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Survivors include three nephews and one niece whom she reared from early childhood. They are Herbert M. Preston, music instructor at Hardin- Simmons University, Abilene; C. H. Preston, drug store operator at Del Rio; J. T. Preston, stock farmer at Pearsall; and Mrs. H. H. Hayley of Tyler.
