McCARTER, Sergt. J.D.P. - Cc. C. 1 Texas Infantry CSA. (no dates) DEASON, James H. - died 9 Nov. 1874, aged 34 years "Beloved and Farewell." NOTE: James Henry Deason was born 5 Sept. 1840, son of Hilliard Judge Deason and Hannah Posey (Blackstock) Deason. He married Sarah Martha Lewis, daughter of Freeman and Acenith Connell Lewis.
