MOORE to CLARK & MARTIN Know all men by these presents that I Nancy Vandyke for myself as widow of the late John Vandyke of Rusk County, deceased, as Guardian of my minor children and I, Amanda Moore, Daughter of the Said John Vandyke do hereby assign and Transfer unto Amos Clark and Bennett H. Martin all the Estate of said John Vandyke, Deceased, whether the same be real or personal or wheather in the hands of the administrator of Said John Vandyke, deceased or elsewhere in the Republic of Texas, including two horses, one claimed by Andrew Vandyke and the other by the said Amanda Moore, hereby authorising to take and use all lawful means for the recovery of said entire Estate within the Republic of Texas and the same as avails thereof to retain as a fee for professional services in and about the complaint against the said Amanda Moore, Nancy Vandyke and Nance a negro woman charged with murder of said John Vandyke hereby warranting and defending against one and all of the heirs of said John Vandyke, deceased.
