TIMES: -- We are having some very fine weather at present, and the farmers are making good use of it. The beautiful corn has already begun to put in its appearance, and vegetation generally, is putting up, which tells us that spring is at hand. Our Sabbath school is getting along finely, though some of us got a powerful raking yesterday on account of bad lessons, but I think our class will do better now. We get new members very often. Added two new names to the list last Sabbath. Our debating society met again last Saturday night, (which was the regular time for meeting), and had a short discussion on the subject of the pen and sword, after which the judges retired and rendered a verdict in favor of the pen. Mr. W. A. Gannon this morning trying to bell a dog received a wound from the dog's tush on the back of his hand. However no one should say anything about it being a mad dog. Dr. Dulin has been quite ill for the past week with measles. He is now up and about. some one said the reason why they hurt him so bad, was because he experimented on himself too much. Mrs. Heath has built a nice house and moved to this place. I think she intends to take boarders. Success to THE TIMES and its readers. Yours as before. M.
