JOHNNIE ARMSTRONG

Services for Johnnie Armstrong, 63, a painter and veteran of Army service in
world War II, will be held at the Maple Grove Baptist Church in Minden Saturday
at 2 p.m. with Rev. Jim Adams and Rev. Leroy Williams officiating.

Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery under the direction of Bryan Funeral
Home.

Armstrong, a member of the First Baptist Church of Laneville, died at his
residence at 315 Millville drive here Thursday at 2:30 a.m. after a sudden
illness.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Dottis Armstrong of Henderson; two daughters, Mrs.
Leroy williams and Mrs. Linda Kay Arnold, both of Newellton, La., a
stepdaughter, Mrs. Carl Neal of Mineola; one son, William Franklin Armstrong of
Corpus Christi; two sisters, Mrs. Margie Rexrode of Laneville and Beatrice
Watkins of Dallas; a brother, Keith (Buddy) Armstrong of Minden, eight
grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
