He was the son of the late Cecil and Agnes Crim of Henderson. Commander Crim retired from the US Navy in 1972 after 24 years of dedicated service. Commander Crim and his wife spent several years of retirement in the Tyler and Henderson area before settling in Virginia Beach. He is survived by his wife, Adah, of Virginia beach; a son, Stephen Crim of Chesapeake; daughter, Diana Crim, of Virginia Beach; grandson Scott Crim serving in the US Air Force; granddaughter, Jennifer of Missouri; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Gene and Frances Crim of Monroe, LA; Charles and Lottie Crim of Selma, Ala; a sister and brother-in-law, Peggy and Gary Coffee, of Henderson and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. The family requests that memorials be made to the Navy-Marine relief society in lieu of flowers. Condolences may be offered to the family at .
