All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm *********************************************************** A memorial graveside service for Drucilla Bennett Dahlstrom will be 10 AM Thursday, November 10, 2011, at Oak Hill Cemetery, Henderson, Texas with Reverend Ted White officiating. Dru passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2011, at Summer Meadows Nursing Home in Longview, Texas. Dru was born April 18, 1931, in Henderson, Texas to Roscoe J. Bennett and Nett Ballenger Bennett. She Graduated from Henderson High School and worked many years for Riggs Nursery and Landscape Company. She loved flowers and working in her yard. Some of her fondest memories were of turning yards into beautiful landscapes and fishing at her home on Lake Cherokee. She was a very sweet person who was loved by all who knew her. Dru was a life long member of Oak Hill United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband Jesse Bass in 1972 and by her second husband, Robert J. Dahlstrom in 2003. Besides her parents she was also preceded in death by her step mother Loveta Bennett, her brother Melvin J. Bennett and his wife Joyce Bennett, Brother Edwin Bennett, niece April Evers and nephew Josh Bennett. She is survived by her sister Latricia Nichols and husband Rex Nichols, Sr, brother Daryll Bennett and wife Gayle, sister, Wanda Holland, brother, Virgil Bennett, step sister Barbara Nease and husband Dale, step sister Sandra Hayden, step brother Homer Morgan, special nieces Sheila Evers and husband Eddie and their son Brett, and Katya Warr and husband Christopher.
