W. Freeman HENDERSON - Services for James W. Freeman, 78, Route 6, Henderson, are set for 2 p.m. Monday in Crawford A. Crim Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Ernie Turney officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Mr. Freeman died Sunday morning after a lengthy illness. A native and lifelong resident of Rusk County, he was a member of Mount Olive Freewill Baptist Church and a past grand nobel of Oddfellow Lodge at Overton. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Myrtle Freeman of Henderson; two son, J. W. Freeman III of Wright City and Eugean Freeman of Selman City; a foster son, James Holland; four daughters, Mrs. Ruth Boyd of Pasadena, Mrs. Jackie Sanders of Henderson, Mrs. Nancy Thayer of Buda, and Mrs. Linda Haven of Austin; one brother, John A. Freeman of New London; one sister, Mrs. Hattie Sherman of Denver, Colo.; 14 grandchildren; and seven great-greatchildren. Additional Comments: His son Wesley Glynn Freeman, died in 1965, was my grandfather.
