Freeman, 29, of Overton, who was fatally injured when he fell from an oil rig derrick on which he was working at Springhll, La., will be held at the Bible Baptist Church in Overton at 2 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. Jack McGaughey officiating. burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Freeman, a native of Rusk County and an employee of a Kilgore drilling company, died in a Shreveport hospital Thursday from injuries received int he accident Tuesday afternoon. Survivors are his widow; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Freeman of Henderson; two sons, Roger Lynn and Jerry D. Freeman, both of Overton; a daughter, Patricia Ann Freeman of Overton; two brothers, J. W. Freeman III of Wright City and Eugene Freeman of Selma City; four sisters, Mrs. Bobby Sanders and Mrs. Dan Fears, both of Henderson, Mrs. Ted Thayer of Marion and Mrs. Ray Boyd of Pasadena.
