Graveside services for Mrs. Doris Mae McKnight, 76, of Laird Hill, mother of
Troup and Whitehouse men were held Friday, Feb. 3 in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in
Rusk County with the Rev. W. Nelson Parrish officiating. Services were under
direction of Pearson Funeral Home in Overton. Mrs. McKnight died Wednesday in a
Henderson hospital after a lengthy illness. She was born Aug. 27, 1912, in
Belton and lived in Laird Hill the past 16 years and in the East Texas area
since 1931. She was a housewife.
