Graveside services for Mrs Thelma Spivey Howard, 95, of Henderson, were held at
2 pm Monday, July 14, 2003, at Lakewood Memorial Park with the Rev Ricky Ricks
officiating. Burial followed under the direction of Crawford-Crim-Bryan Funeral
Home in Henderson.

Mrs Howard died Saturday, July 12, 2003, at Kingsley Place in Henderson. She was
born Jan 17, 1908, in Rusk County, was a member of First United Methodist Church
of Henderson and a housewife.

She was preceded in death by her son, Graves H Spivey and the love of her life;
Graves Henderson Spivey, husband, and by her second husband, Jewell W Howard.

Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Delores Spivey, Henderson; granddaughter,
Susan Barrett, White Oak; grandson David Spivey & wife, Susan, Henderson;
great-grandchildren, Jake Spivey, Jenny Spivey and Cody Barrett; stepdaughter,
Ann Lemon & husband, William, Junction; and her loving caretakers, Lillie Mae
Porter and Glenna Holder.
