Thompson Rites Set Wednesday

Funeral services for Fred Thompson of Tyler formerly of Turnertown, will be held
at 2 pm Wed at the Mount Hope Church with burial in Mount Hope Cemetery. Mr.
Thompson, 67, died unexpectedly at his home Monday.

A member of the Salem Methodist Church and a Mason, Mr. Thompson had lived in
Tyler for several years.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, James Thompson of Tyler and Leonard
Thompson of Greenville; one brother, Martin Thompson of Jacksonville and one
sister, Mrs. Zora Strickland of Price.

Burks-Walker-Tippett Funeral Home of Tyler is in charge of arrangements.
