Tisdale Rites Held Today

Funeral services for Mrs. Stella Tisdale, 65, of 1404 Jacksonville Drive, were
held at 3 pm Wed at the Turnertown Baptist Church of which she was a charter
member. The Rev. R.D. Copeland, the Rev. R.H. Sneed and the Rev. Harvey Elledge
officiated. Burial was in Lakewood Memorial Park under direction of Crawford-A
Crim Funeral Home. Mrs. Tisdale died unexpectedly early Tues at her home.

A native of Louisiana, she had lived in Rusk Co 28 yrs and was a member of the
Southside Baptist Church.

Survivors included her husband A.C. Tisdale of Henderson; three sons, the Rev
Billy Bob Tisdale of Tariac, Phillipine Islands; the Rev. Donald Tisdale of
Tyler and A.J. Tisdale of Houston; five daughters, Mrs. Keith Coffer of
Henderson, Mrs. H.D. Stewart of Overton, Mrs. R. K. Beggs of Gainesville,Mrs.
Lon Abney, Jr. of Shreveport, Mrs. B.R. Phillips of Galena Park; one brother
C.A. Allbritton of Winnsboro, LA; two sisters Mrs. Ola Muckelrath of Vinton, LA
and Mrs. Wealthy McDonald of Columbia, LA; 17 grandchildren and 3 great-
grandchildren.
