All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm *********************************************************** March 12, 1959 Mrs. Jennie Waggoner, 71, of Good Springs community, died Thursday night in Henderson Memorial Hospital shortly after suffering a heart attack. Mrs. Waggoner was stricken at her home and was rushed to the hospital where she died. She was born Oct 3, 1887 in Rusk Co and had lived here all her life. Her father was he late I.B. Moyers, pioneer Rusk County citizen. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Sat in the Good Springs Methodist Church, the Rev Robert W. Koch, the Rev Clyde Wallace and the Rev. J.L. McAdams officiating. Burial will be in the Duncan Cemetery under discretion of Crawford A.-Crim Funeral Home. Survivors include her husband Jake Waggoner; three sons, Hubert Waggoner of Houston, Claude Waggoner of Highlands, TX, and Wilmer Waggoner of Henderson; two daughters, Mrs. T.P. Ewing of Houston and Mrs. S.F. Gilmore of Newgulf, TX; two brothers, Jim Moyers and John Moyers both of Henderson; four sisters, Mrs. J.B. Waggoner of Marshall, Mrs. W.V. Daniels of Henderson, Mrs. Lee Ashby of Henderson, and Mrs. I.B. Waggoner of Henderson; and eight grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Paul Moyers, Troy Waggoner, L.C. Daniels, R.Q. Bynum, Thurman Heath and H.B. Armstrong.
