Services for Julius Stephen Warren of Henderson, are set for 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Bryan Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Harold Davis officiating. Burial will be in Pirtle Cemetery under the direction of Bryan Funeral Home. Mr. Warren, age 84, died at 3:50 a.m. Sunday in the Henderson Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born on Feb. 3, 1903 in Rusk County where he was a lifelong resident. Mr. Warren was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and was retired from the New London School District. The family will meet friends from 6pm to 8pm Monday in the funeral home. His survivors include his wife Cora Lee Warren of Henderson, his daughter and son-in-law Virginia Dare Smith and Jack B. Smith of Mt. Prostist, IL; his son and daughter- in-law Billy Charles Warren and Mrs. Billy Warren of Salt Lake City, UT; two sisters Inez York and Rennie Ash both of Henderson; one brother Fonzo Warren of Henderson; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Douglas York, Olen Pool, Doyle Gentry, Herman Dowden, and Joel Horton. Note: Julius Stephen was the son of John Stephen Warren and his wife Effie Eliza Gossett.
