Mrs. Hortense Warren, 79, of Henderson, will be today at 4p.m. in the Crawford A-Crim Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Ronnie Ham officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Mrs. Warren died at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at Henderson Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. She was born May 1, 1905 in Rusk County and had lived here all her life. She was a member of Grandview Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband A.F. Warren of Henderson; one daughter Mrs.(Joyce) Kenneth Pollick of Henderson; two brothers J.B. Cooper and (Lem) Earvel Cooper, both of Longview; two sisters, Mrs. (Flonnie L.) Virgil Harrington and Mrs. (Ellen C.)Nathaniel A. Hollier, both of Henderson; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Keith Pollick, Bill Pinner, Ronnie Warren, Don Cooper, Randal Montgomery and Forest Burton. Note: Mary Hortense COOPER ( b.1 May 1905 d. 30 Sept 1984 Rusk Co TX). She was the daughter of Lemuel 'Lem' Stephens Cooper and the wife of Alfonza 'Fonzo' Warren, a son of John Stephen Warren. Alfonza 'Fonzo' was a nephew of Uriah G. Warren.
