Funeral services for J.L. 'Buddy' York, 33, of Tatum will be at 10 am  
Tuesday at the Crystal Baptist Church at Tatum with Rev Edward  
Pounders officiating. Burial will be in Tatum Cemetery under the  
direction of Cothron and Taylor Funeral Home. York, a native of Rusk  
County, died Saturday of gunshot wounds. He was a used car dealer.  
Survivors include his mother, Ella York of Tatum; his wife Marjorie  
York of Tatum; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Pelham and Mrs. Grady Broome  
both of Tatum; and Mrs. Christine Stowe of Longview. The body will be  
at the mothers home prior to services.
