County of San Augustine

Know ye that any person legally authorized to celebrate the rite of matrimony 
is hereby Licensed to join Jno. P. Horton and Mary E. Lizeby and this shall be 
the suthority required by the State in such cases made and prvided Here in fail 
not but due return make of this writ within the time prescribed by the Law and 
with your return endorsed there on showing how you have executed the same given 
under my hand and seal of office in the town of San Augustine Texas on this the 
11th day of November AD 1876.  W. H. Crouch
