Originally from North Carolina, William and Rebecca came to Texas in 1872, first settling in Bell County.  Four years later, they moved to southeastern Shackelford County, permanently settling on Deep Creek, a few miles north of the future site of Hulltown, later known as Moran.  The oldest known grave marker in the family's cemetery belongs to that of Marion Parrish, the two year-old son of James Alvice Parrish and grandson of William Parrish.  Marion was buried in 1883. In all, four generations of the Parrish family are buried in the cemetery, the last generation being James David Parrish (infant son of David & Eletha Parrish), who was buried there in 1928. In addition to Parrish family members, there are a few unknown sandstone markers in the cemetery.  The Parrish farm is now owned and operated by Alvice and Eva Bailey Parrish.  Alvice is a great-grandson of William M. "Uncle Billy" and Rebecca Bryson Parrish.  All of the known markers in the cemetery are listed below. NAME BIRTH DEATH NOTES Parrish, Amanda Jane West 10/13/1839 4/26/1907 Wife of E.W.
