Charley Zug returned from a visit to his old home in PA. H.E. McMurry, - boy – born on Tuesday. Shield’s Opera Hall Dr. L.M. Townsley, for a number of years a citizen of this county, returned to his present home in El Paso. District Court Charlotte Perry vs. Clayton Perry; divorce Nancy Hashert vs. Wm. Hashert; divorce Mahala Anderson vs John Anderson; divorce John Baxter, foreman of the stone masons for the new courthouse Prof. W.S. Dalrymple has moved from Ft. Griffin to Albany to take charge of the public schools October 1st. The iron doors and locks for the three vaults in the courthouse have arrived from Deibold safe and lock works, Cincinnati. The school trustees have rented the stone residence of George Wilhelm for a temporary school house. Married Wednesday, September 18, by Rev. S. Ezell, A.W. Duffy and Mrs. E.C. Pool.
