Wife of Associate Justice T. J. Brown Passes Away in Capital City After Short Illness. Special To The News. Sherman, Tex., Jan. 11-News reached here today of the death of Mrs. Louisa T. Brown, which occurred at Austin this morning. She was the wife of Associate Justice T. J. Brown and they had made this city their home from more than thirty years past. Mrs. Brown was in her seventieth year. The funeral will take place here tomorrow afternoon at 4 o'clock and interment will be made in West Hill Cemetery. In August, 1860, Miss Louisa T. Estes, who was born in Kentucky, was married to T. J. Brown at McKinney, Tex. There are four daughters, Mrs. C. E. Craycroft and Mrs. L. C. Chapman of Sherman, Mrs. J. H. Blocker of Wolfe City and Mrs. J. M. Myrick of Austin. Illness prevented the attendance of Mrs. C. E. Craycroft of this city at the deathbed of her mother. The other children were present. Death was due to an illness of several days, following a stroke of partial paralysis. Members of the Christian Church here will attend the funeral tomorrow. Mrs. Brown was a member of that congregation and it is said by those who knew her that she will be best remembered by her earnest and efficient work for the uplifting of humanity. Many expressions of sorrow were heard following the announcement of Mrs. Brown's death.
