Located approximately 5 mi. S and 6 mi. E of Stratford, Texas was the city of 
Coldwater, the first County Seat of Sherman County, Texas.    The Coldwater 
Cemetery to the Northeast of the city has eight known graves ranging from 1893 
to 1902. Two of the graves have gravestones, 3 more of the graves have 
information, and some have no known information.     

Additional Comments:
The Cemetery was fenced in 2001 to protect it from cattle or farming etc. The 
road is not paved the entire way.
