BIBLE RECORD OF AARON STUART SMITH - Smith County, Texas

This Bible, printed in 1834, belonged to Aaron Stuart Smith.  He, his 
wife, their family and slaves came to Texas in 1859 and settled at Swan. 
On the trip to Texas, the group stopped on Saturday and had religious 
services each Sunday from this Bible.

This Bible has been given to a son in each generation and has survived 
a fire.  It is now owned by the great-grandson of the original owner, 
Julian Stuart Smith.
