T. J. DEEN.

Thomas J. Deen was born in Clark county, Miss., in January, 1840; 
and died near Buffalo, Texas, in March, 1907, aged 67 years. He went 
to Texas in 1869. He gave four years service to the Confederacy as 
a member of the 37th Mississippi. He had been a Mason for more than 
forty years. His wife and six children mourn his death with many 
friends.
