Graves are at top of hill (about 120-150 yards), on the right side, about 15 yards into the woods. Cemetery is on private property and not accessible to the public. They had at least eight children: four born in N.C. and four in Tennessee. The youngest, daughter Joanna Green, was born 29 March 1834 and came to Smith County with her parents before 1850. The Greens bought land near Omen in southeast Smith County and became farmers. They show up here in the 1850, 1860 and 1870 censuses. William Ellison was a son-in-law, married to Joanna, but that's all we know about him at this time. **The property owner says he remembers there being "a couple more" tombstones "many years ago".
